Shoreham Aircraft Museum - The Museum houses hundreds of aviation relics excavated by the group over many years from crashed British and German aircraft, as well as items which have been kindly donated. In addition, there is a fine collection of flying helmets, uniforms and insignia. The Museum has a charming tea room, serving home-made cakes and refreshments that can be enjoyed in the large teagarden. There is also a gallery displaying a range of prints by renowned aviation artist Geoff Nutkins, one of the Museum's founders.

The Shoreham Society - is the local amenity society that was established for the benefit of residents living in Shoreham in Kent, and locally along the beautiful Darent Valley. It is a registered charity and is affiliated to the Kent Federation of Amenity Societies. It was founded in 1961 – “to enhance the amenities of Shoreham village and to maintain the agreeable rural character of its surroundings”. Since then it has campaigned effectively against various proposals, which have threatened to do harm to our parish, including gravel extraction, and the original position of the M25 motorway.
The Darent Valley Landscape Partnership Scheme - is an exciting large-scale partnership, working to conserve and enhance the distinctive heritage landscapes of the Darent Valley and to connect people to the Valley to help us conserve it for the future.
The Kent Archaeological Society - is a registered charity founded to promote advances in knowledge of Kent’s archaeology and history by fieldwork and/or documentary research and the publication of the results.
The 1940s Society - hold regular meetings at Otford Village Memorial Hall with lectures and discussions on different aspects of the 1940's, particularly the British Home Front during the Second World War. Regular film evenings are also popular with classic wartime films and propaganda shorts being shown. Meetings are informal and friendly with refreshments and cakes always proving to be popular. The Society also produces a regular e-magazine which includes up to date information and news & views for those interested in 1940's issues.
